Whilst we have been involved extensively on the West Coast Main Line improvement works over the last 10 years or so the construction of HS2 and initially the high speed rail link from Birmingham to London is ever more imminent following the announcement from the Transport Secretary on 10th January 2012.

The partners and staff at Hinson Parry & Company have over 100 years’ combined experience in dealing with compulsory purchase and compensation matters.  Furthermore, unlike a lot of companies we do not act for acquiring authorities and only ever act for landowners and parties affected by major infrastructure schemes such as HS2. 

Our focus is fairly and squarely about compensating landowners and farmers affected by HS2 and getting the right HS2 compensation settlement for them.

Together with other national membership organisations our partner, Roger Bedson, continues to provide input to the debate at national level from his position as Vice Chair to the Valuation, Compensation and Taxation Committee of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.
