Property Sales, Acquisition and Letting Management

We deal with the full spectrum of residential properties, but perhaps are best known for particular expertise in the sale of country properties in rural locations. This includes houses, agricultural smallholdings, farms and land. Sales are conducted by auction, private treaty or tender and advice will be given on method of sale, advertising and marketing.

Professional Services

Valuations are provided for many differing purposes including proposed purchase / sale, rental review, taxation, secured lending and matrimonial proceedings. Increasingly, our professional services relate to advice on planning and development. We have an excellent track record in promoting residential and other development sites and rural and traditional barns for conversion.

Compensation

Ownership or occupation of property may lead to statutory or other bodies carrying out actions which either directly or indirectly affect it. This may be by a pipeline being laid across land, the construction of a new road or similar. It may be that the property is affected by the close proximity of a pylon or overhead lines. We can advise and prepare claims against the appropriate authority and have a wealth of specific comparable evidence to hand.

Agriculture

Hinson Parry are a leading firm within the area providing advice and valuations on matters affecting farms and farmland, quotas and other related matters. We act for both Landlords and Tenants and have specialist knowledge of the differing legislation which governs the occupation of rural land. We also, of course, work on behalf of owners / occupiers of agricultural property.

Sales and Auctions

On site farm auctions of live and dead stock are conducted and we hold the well known Swynnerton Machinery and General Effects Sale on a twice yearly basis.

We have an active department advising the Official Receiver and Insolvency Practitioners on the valuation and realisation of a wide range of assets resulting in on-site sales by auction, tender and private treaty.

Property Auctions

Regular property auctions are held which incorporate properties from other agents to provide extensive and varied listings. We also hold one-off auctions of individual agricultural properties.
